The Grand Opening is a party that occurred on CPYSv2 starting on July 29, 2014. It celebrated the grand opening of the new version of CPYS, along with Canada Day and the 4^th of July.

1^st Beta Party / Canada Day / 4^th of July

CPYSv2 officially opened to the public on June 29, 2014. The town was originally decorated for a beta party, designed by the owner, Hucci, but was later changed to a half-and-half room for the Fourth of July and Canada Day. Although beta testing was partially limited to those who had donated, the Grand Opening featured custom items that were available to everyone.

2^nd Beta Party

The private server continued to gain users for a few days until it was closed down for maintenance changes. Once back up, however, a new beta town made by Gamer18 was in place of the old one.
